If the law firms are getting in, it's time to join in!

In the UK, the legal sector is stepping up its online operations.

In a recent survey, 42% percent of respondents said that they expect to increase their spending on online projects and 26 percent agree that Web 2.0 will be a key component of their online strategy.

On this evidence, there is no doubt that the social media phenomenon of Web 2.0 has a permanent role to play in disciplines such as law.

Both large and small legal firms increasing their efforts in making their content more appealing through new technology such as RSS feeds, podcasts and video clips.

Part of the social media landscape is Local Search. More people are sourcing goods and services closer to home, due to the rise in petrol prices and the "think globally - act locally" mind set.

Embracing this emerging Web 2.0 mind set is UK Local Search and Business Directory.
