Local Search growing according to Google

We have just completed another day of full time training with the Google AdWords team from Sydney Australia. It was a great session again. We discussed the growth in local search from Google Maps perspective. More and more people are starting to use this resource and the presence of AdWords on map searches is growing. We will discus the Mobi space another time.

What this means for UK Local Search and our UK Business Directory is that the value of local search for business listings is growing. Local business search is growing faster then universal search. People are beginning to see the value of using search to find local businesses. Your participation in local search business directories is becoming a priority for local businesses. Your UK local shop front needs to be included in local search directories and it must show you on a map. Our UK Local Search Directory uses Google maps to provide this information.

If you don't already have "click to all" on your free listing in UK Local Search, you can add it now. Just go to We Call You Now and sign up. This is a great way to increase business relationships, for both technical support and sales.

You also move to the top of the local search for your business category when you have a We Call You Now button. Remember a phone call is worth 15 time an email.

We are happy to announce that we have launched our UK Local Search website. This web site contains over 1.6 million UK business listings. The local search business directory is a great way to find business and contains a large amount of "no cost" web 2.0 features like maps, payment types accepted and hours of operations.
